Krate Digga
Krate Digga has over 20 years of experience as a professional DJ, first learning the craft as an undergraduate student at Kentucky State University. Krate Digga went on to form the Mos Wanted Crew in 1997 and has shared stages with a multitude of esteemed artists, including Eric Roberson, Raheem Devaughn, 112, MC Lyte, Brand Nubian, and Tanya Morgan, among others. Krate Digga has years of teaching experience with The Ohio State University, Patternz Program, Lincoln Theatre Artist Incubation Program, Renaissance Academy, and TD2 Dance Camp. He shares his passion for West African percussion as a former member of Tony West & Imani Dancers and current member of Thiossane West African Dance Institute.
Krate Digga is committed to improving quality of life using music as a vehicle, specifically through the prism of Hip Hop culture. Whether teaching middle school or at the collegiate level, opening for Grandmaster Flash or performing his own stage production; it is music and the power therein that has allowed him to serve as a conduit for artistic and community development.
